Augmented reality for the naked model win
Recently kicking off London Fashion Week, online retailer Lyst used Augmented Reality to combine fashion and tech in a super cool way.
They started with 4 semi-naked, underwear clad models, which seems like an excellent place to start.
These models then stood in a shop window and members of the public outside could then hold up their smartphones or tablets to digitally dress them.
Most people had phones, anyway.
From a Sauce:
“In a week where London comes alive for fashion, we thought it would be fascinating to look at what lies in store — quite literally — for us all in the coming years,” Lyst CMO Christian Woolfenden told Mashable. “Emperor’s New Clothes’ as we wanted to stop people in their tracks twice — first in puzzlement; then in awe.
We like it. Do you think you could shop this way?
