Website of the Week – Trail titans
Got some summer climbs in mind? This site is for you! And for those who would love to be the kind of person who has summer climbs in mind but are a little sketchy about the whole idea, or for those who want to climb but are a little…. lazy.
This is Trail Titans. Think Google Street View for Trails. Got a climb in mind? Look it up and you can see what you’re in for. Built by Bay Area based hard-core mountain climber Michael Ware and C++ coding engineer Javi Muhrer, the site provides 360 degree views and step-by-step visual guides to peaks such as Mount Shasta and Half Dome, as well as a bunch of others all over the world (including Everest).
You can contribute as well, by becoming a Titan and joining the ranks of badass climbers all over the world who are making the whole thing possible.
Even if you’re not about to go climb Everest, you now have the ability to see what it would be like if you were to get off your butt and tick the big one off your bucket list!
