Uber testing new service

Uber has begun a pilot program in the Bay Area that aims to benefit current and attract new drivers to the service.

The program is similar to UberPool, which matches multiple passengers going the same direction, however this program will specifically match the driver with passengers who are going to the same destination. Think the supermarket, or to and from work.

Twice a day, drivers will be able to input their destination and be matched with passengers going to that same place. This is also similar to Lyft’s Driver Destination, however Lyft drivers’s can use in three times a day.

The program will extend to other areas in the future.
