Apple Watch shipments processing!

Apple Watch orders have begun appearing as ‘preparing for shipment’ and purchasers credit/debit cards are being processed as of yesterday mid-afternoon PST.

This is in preparation for the official launch date of the Apple Watch on April 24th. (Cue streamers.)

Those quick-handed enough to pre-order within the first hour have an official shipment date of anywhere between Friday April 24th through May 8th, however many who were quick-handed enough to order within the first 5-10 minutes should expect shipment on Friday.

Those who waited to pre-order should expect their magical package of Apple joy in the mail in the coming weeks, and if you pre-order today, your shipment time is looking to extend into June and further.

There have been suggestions that the shipping wait time will be shorter than people think, which would definitely be a come up!

Apple Watch orders will ship out from central distribution centers via Fedex and UPS. And, just to put this out there – there have been reports of people getting notification from UPS that a package from Apple is on it’s way ALREADY HOLY MOLY.

Did you pre-order? Has your order changed to processing shipment yet?

How will April 10th work?

Looking to buy an Apple watch? Or simply to go have a gander at them? Starting April 10th, you can do just that (although you won’t be able to take one home until the 24th, only pre-ordering starts on the 10th).

So how will it work? Well, it’ll be really, really busy. Think your average Apple store experience, with about 100 more people. That’s totally  a guesstimate, and we’re also guesstimating that the numbers will go up in the days following the 10th with people who are trying to miss out on the starter crowds. Sneakers!

So: busy. If you want to try on an Apple Watch, you’re looking at making and holding a personal 15 minute appointment with an Apple store employee, where they’ll presumably go through a bunch of questions about what style watch and band you want. Supposedly, they’re being trained to look at your style, what you do for a living, your lifestyle, etc and use that information to recommend the perfect Apple watch for you.

If you’re looking at buying the super fancy Gold Apple Watch Edition, you’re looking at a whole 15 minutes more than the rest of us plebs. That’s right, you get half an hour! And you’ll also get attended to by a specially trained employee. So that’s pretty special.

Apple Watch Edition will however only be available in select stores. The other Apple Watch options will be available to try on  in all Apple retail stores from the beginning of store hours on April 10th. The stores will be transformed overnight to and the watches themselves will be placed in glass display tables surrounded by try-on tables.

There will also be pop-up stores for the fancy Edition Apple Watches, although we haven’t heard of any in the states yet. So far we’ve heard mentioned The Wonder Room in Selfridges, the Galeries Lafayette in Paris, and the Isetan Department Store in Tokyo.

Will you be going to try on an Apple Watch on April 10th?

Thinking of Pre-ordering the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus? There’s only a few more hours to go, yo!

This year you won’t have to wait for your shiny new iPhone to be shipped to your address, as Apple is allowing pre-orders to be picked up in most of their retail stores from 8am on the release day – September 19th. Shiny iPhone. Hot little hands. Days Away.

You can of course choose to get your new iPhone shipped (for free, yay) to your address instead, if that’s what you prefer.

Or you can just go ahead with your fingers crossed and purchase the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus in-store at 8am on the 19th. There hasn’t been much in the way of information on the availability of either model, and how long supplies will last on either, but we’ll be letting you know anything we hear, when we hear it! We would suggest pre-ordering if at all possible.

In-store there will most likely be two lines- those purchasing, and those picking up.

Pre-orders for both models of the iPhone 6 begin tonight at 12:01pm. One minute past midnight, tonight. Mere hours, guys. Good luck! Remember, if you need some cash to make the iPhone 6 upgrade work for you – hit us up! Sell your old stinky iPhone for CashMoney!!

How to get your hands on a 5S

The iPhone 5C has been available for pre order for more than a few hours now, but what about the 5S?

In an unprecedented move, Apple is not offering the iPhone 5S for pre order.

Wah!

We know. Instead, customers will have to wait for the 20th of September when the 5S will be available for purchase in two ways-

1, You can purchase your new shiny iPhone 5S online after 12:01 AM on September the 20th. So, like, wait until 11PM on the 19th, wait an hour, BAM IPHONE 5S.

2, The 5S will also be available for purchase in Apple retail stores, starting 8AM. It’s too early to tell if there will be lines at this stage, but cross your fingers. Unless you like that kind of thing. Lining up, we mean.

If you do, more power to you! Send us a pic of you standing in line, and not only will we feature you in the blog, but if you use our service to sell your stinky old iPhone, we’ll give you $5 extra on your quote!

The iPhone 5C pre order stock is getting low in what color?

YELLOW!

Like the submarine, man.

We certainly would not have guessed that this would be the first color to be running low, but there it is.

If you go to pre order the yellow 16Gb iPhone 5C SIM free right now, you’ll see that the shipping date slips past the 20th of September to being available to ship by the 25th of September.

There doesn’t seem to be any indication from Apple yet just how many pre order’s for the iPhone 5C have been registered so far.

We’ll just have to wait and see how many folks caught the 5C fever!
