Apple will sell its lightening to 3.5mm Headphone Jack adapter separately
As you’ve probably heard by now, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will both come without a headphone jack.
Both, however, will come shipped with a Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter and EarPods that feature a Lightning connector.
Apple will also be selling these accessories separately, with the adapter pricing out at $9 and EarPods with Lightning Connector at $29. These will both go on sale alongside the iPhone 7’s pubic launch on Friday September 7th.
AirPods will be available for purchase in October for $159.
